Ghoul Racing

Flint Hawthorne, an aspiring mechanic with a supernatural secret, is thrilled when he lands a job with the Haunting Fang Crew, a racing team struggling on the brink of dissolution. However, upon arrival, he finds himself immersed in the chaotic world of a ragtag group of misfits who have never tasted victory. Tasked by his enigmatic boss, Mathias, to address the crew's internal issues, Flint must conceal his true identity as a fey, gifted with the ability to sense others' emotions, while navigating the complexities of his new role.

As tensions rise and the crew faces their make-or-break race, Flint's fey powers may hold the key to their salvation. Will he unravel the tangled web of desires and insecurities within the crew, or will the weight of their collective baggage drag them down into oblivion? With love and loyalty hanging in the balance, Flint's journey is fraught with choices that could change everything for the Haunting Fang Crew.

Flint is resourceful and determined, always seeking innovative solutions to mechanical problems. Despite his calm exterior, he harbors a deep sense of empathy due to his fey nature, which allows him to sense the emotions of others. He is cautious about revealing his true identity but remains genuinely caring and supportive towards the team members. Flint's past experiences have made him resilient yet somewhat reserved in new environments.

 

Kar thrives on chaos and the thrill of danger, constantly pushing himself to the edge in search of the next adrenaline rush. His relentless drive to prove himself stems from his past fueling his desire to be recognized as the best. Despite his wild exterior, there's a vulnerability underneath that he rarely lets anyone see.

  

Sven is the heart of the team, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. His gentle nature and unwavering loyalty make him the glue that holds everyone together, even when tensions run high. Despite his insecurities, Sven's positivity and supportive demeanor never waver.

  

Dhradi is enigmatic and unpredictable, often keeping his true intentions hidden behind a veil of confidence. He thrives on bending the rules to his advantage and enjoys keeping others guessing about his next move. His cocky demeanor masks a sharp intellect and a strategic mind.

  

Yuval is perpetually lethargic and seemingly indifferent, often found napping or daydreaming. His lack of motivation puzzles the team, but those who take the time to know him realize that he possesses a pearl of quiet wisdom and an unexpected depth of understanding regarding mechanical intricacies. Despite his reserved nature, Yuval's rare moments of engagement reveal a sharp mind hidden beneath his sleepy exterior.

  

Gaerus is the nurturing backbone of the crew, always ready to offer guidance and support. His patience and understanding make him a trusted confidant for everyone, fostering an environment where each member feels valued. Despite the pressures they face, Gaerus remains steadfastly optimistic and encourages others to believe in themselves.

  

Mathias is methodical and strategic, always analyzing the situation to make calculated decisions that will benefit the team in the long run. Beneath his seemingly cold exterior lies a deep sense of responsibility for each member's well-being, driving him to go above and beyond to ensure their success.

Currently, Ghoul Racing is in its Demo stage with 2 routes available to play.  After the Spooktober 6th annual game jam I will go back and check for bugs missed and get started on the other 4 routes!
